Welcome to our wonderful Watanabe World!
The Dub Steps was inspired by a recent trip to Italy. As Brad was capturing Joanne galavanting down a quiet street in Burano, Italy, a lightbulb went off… Why don’t we start a travel blog/vlog? Brad was already filming and photographing the entire 2.5 week trips while Joanne was journalling about all our experiences so it made perfect sense. That initial lightbulb turned into an electric jolt as the name “The Dub (short for W) Steps” struck a nerve in Brad’s creative genes. At the next water bus station, Brad searched “TheDubSteps.com” on GoDaddy to find that it was available for purchase for $12 and here begins our journey.
On this short trip across the globe (from Hawaii where we live) we’ve been inspired by so many new friends and we thought it would make sense to turn this analog adventure into a digital documentary in hopes that it might inspire others to travel and taste new and unfamiliar flavors.
